Smithers' Interior News served as a mouthpiece through which the Valley's photographers could promote their businesses. Advertisements for Louis (Schibli) Studio, Richerson's Studio, Wrathall, and Covert, as well as an ad for Gilbert Killam's architectural services, all appear in the News. In addition, the paper provides a glimpse of several lesser-known Smithers photographers and studios who are not so well-represented in our collections.
